Private Onsen Ryokan Evening with Kaiseki Dinner

Hakone, Japan 5 hours 4.7 out of 5 · 815 reviews Available

PremiumPrivate bathTattoo friendly

Overview

A private open-air hot-spring bath reserved for your party and a nine-course kaiseki dinner in a ryokan, without staying the night.

Clients who cannot fit a ryokan night into the itinerary can still have the evening. This books a kashikiri — a private open-air bath, yours alone for fifty minutes — followed by a nine-course kaiseki dinner in a private tatami room.

Because the bath is private, it solves the two problems that stop people using onsen: tattoos, which are no obstacle here, and the reluctance to bathe communally. Yukata, towels and amenities are provided; the ryokan holds luggage during the visit.

Highlights

  • Private open-air bath reserved for your party for 50 minutes
  • Tattoos welcome — no communal bathing
  • Nine-course kaiseki dinner in a private room
  • Yukata, towels and amenities provided
  • Luggage held during the visit
  • Vegetarian and pescatarian kaiseki on request
