Overview

A semi-private catamaran along the caldera with swim stops at the Red and White beaches, the hot springs, a grilled dinner on board and sunset off Oia.

This is the best-selling product on the island and the one most often bought badly — the large boats carry sixty and moor in a line at the same cove. This catamaran takes eighteen, which is the difference between a swim stop and a queue for the ladder.

The route covers the Red Beach, the White Beach, the sulphur hot springs off the volcano and a swim in open caldera water, then dinner grilled on board — Greek salad, grilled meats or fish, and local wine — served as the boat anchors below Oia for sunset.

Sunset timing shifts through the season and the supplier moves the departure with it, so the voucher time is confirmed the week before travel. Swimming is optional throughout and there is shade on deck.

What happens, step by step

   Board at Vlychada

   Welcome drink and safety briefing on a 50 ft catamaran.

2. 15:45
   Red and White beaches

   Two swim and snorkel stops beneath the coloured cliffs.

3. 17:00
   Hot springs

   Swim into the warm sulphur water off Nea Kameni.

4. 18:15
   Dinner on board

   Grilled dinner served under way with local wine.

5. 19:30
   Sunset below Oia

   Anchor beneath the village for the sunset, then return to the marina.

Cancellation policy

Free cancellation up to 72 hours before the start time. Between 72 and 24 hours, 50% is refunded. Inside 24 hours the booking is non-refundable, and a no-show is charged in full.
